Patranka means either gun or cannon in Lithuanian, and judging by the size of the barrel protruding from the front of the building in this instance it refers to the latter. A totally gargantuan venue that is part disco, part strip club and now part casino. This is still one of the hotspots in town that fills up with special shows, live performances and student merriment in general.

A very typical Lithuanian urban night out, with a space for both young and not-so-young, with a plethora of themed nights from the 70s disco on a Wednesday to the let-it-all-hang-out Saturday night free for all. Drinking, eating, wiggling and flirting are all available, and professional security staff are on hand to make sure the whole thing doesn't turn into a bloodbath. Tucked back in a dark courtyard, follow the signs or the blaring music to find another temple of funk. Fun!

This venue was apparently designed to appear futuristic, but suddenly became dated and now is just plain funny looking. The club itself, however, is still pulsating and vibrant promising a bevy of entertainment, especially on ladies night when the males entertain their bodies away.
